WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
That’s why we’re participating in the Walk to Defeat ALS. To bring hope. To raise awareness. To provide resources and services to families free of charge. To help unlock the mystery of ALS and find the key to treatments a cure. Will you join us?
ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!

Reminder: The Walk to Defeat ALS is on 10/2 and is virtual this year, however, we will be walking a one mile route in Royal Oak (starting and ending outside of Royal Oak Brewery) for anyone who would like to join us. We'll be walking at 11 AM, so arrive around 10:45 AM if you plan to walk with us. If you don't want to walk but want to come hang out we are planning to grab a drink at the Brewery around noon after the walk.
Below is the link to order. A couple things to note before ordering:
- You will have to select pick up in store when you place your order. It will say the shirts won't be available until after the walk, however, I will be picking up all the shirts on 9/30 and will distribute them accordingly. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY 9/20 in order for them to be ready for me to pick them on 9/30 [I know this is last minute and I'm so sorry, life just got in the way and I got so behind on all the planning for this, PROMISE to be more on top of things next year

- Distribution will be as follows:
*If you are local and planning to walk with us I will give you your shirt on 10/2 prior to walking.
*If you are local and not planning to walk with us I will do my best to drop your shirt off to you prior to 10/2.
* If you are not local I will mail your shirt to you, but it will not arrive until after 10/2 (apologies!).
- After ordering email craigs.crew59@gmail.com and let me know if you will be walking with us or if you would like your shirt(s) mailed. If you would like your shirts mailed please include the address to which I can send them. I will send you a confirmation e-mail once I mail them. Again, if you're close to the Royal Oak area I will do my best to drop off your shirt prior to 10/2
