Support and community resource groups exist entirely for you. Put these meetings at the top of your calendar; they belong to you. Your presence there will open doors you never knew existed.

Support groups are often held on site at a hospital or community center. Most often, medical staff and a member from the Chapter’s Care Services team are available to answer questions and concerns. Third party vendors or educational speakers may be present.

Community Resource Groups are designed to be more informal than support groups. These meetings are usually held in a private room at a restaurant, coffee and pastries are served. A member from the Chapter’s Care Services team attends to assist in facilitating the conversation. Medical staff, third party vendors and speakers sometimes participate in these gatherings.
